If your problem turns out to need imaging, a specialist or a different discipline, we will tell you at the first appointment rather than at the sixth.
Your first appointment
Assessment first — treatment second.
The initial appointment is 45 minutes: history, a movement and strength assessment, and then treatment in the same session. You will be told what we think is causing the problem, in plain language, before anything is done about it.
Wear something you can move in.Shorts for a knee, hip or ankle; a vest for a shoulder or neck. There are gowns if you would rather change here.
An estimate of how many sessions.Given at the end of the first appointment. If we are wrong we will say so at the review rather than quietly rebooking you.
Dry needling only if you want it.It is offered where it helps, explained first, and never a condition of treatment.
Physiotherapy fees
Published, and the same for everyone.
We submit directly to most medical-aid schemes. Physiotherapy is usually paid from a day-to-day or savings benefit, so cover depends on what is left in yours.
