A tunnel of oak barrels running away into the dim of the cellar

The wines

Twenty-six hectares,
eight wines

Everything is grown, pressed and bottled here. Order below and we will pack it in the same cellar you would get married in.

A long table set with wine glasses under a marquee beside the vines

How it is made

Small parcels,
picked by hand

Chenin on the cooler southern slopes, syrah where the ground turns to decomposed granite, and a half-hectare of cabernet franc that we nearly pulled out in 2019 and are very glad we did not.

Nothing here is made in quantity. When a wine is finished it is finished, and the next vintage arrives when it is ready rather than when the calendar says so.

Demonstration site. Veldlicht Estate is a fictional winery and venue created to show what a Travers & Co. website looks like. Photography is stock; the wines, prices and contact details are invented — the basket works, but no order is placed and no payment is taken.
