Surveillance camera mounted high on a building

Cameras are only useful if you can find the footage.

Half the CCTV we are called out to look at is either pointing at a wall, recording over itself in three days, or behind a login nobody remembers. We fit fewer cameras, in the right places, and make sure you can pull last Tuesday up from your phone in under a minute.

On your phone

Live from the gate, from wherever you are.

Every system we install comes paired to an app on your phone before we leave site — set up, logged in, tested on your own mobile data rather than your Wi-Fi, and with the notifications tuned so you aren't buzzed every time a branch moves.

You get live view on any camera, scrub-back through recorded footage by time, and a clip export you can hand straight to SAPS or your insurer without needing us to come and fetch it off a hard drive.

  • Live view and playback. Any camera, any time, on phone or laptop — and on the control-room wall too if you're on the Total plan.
  • Motion alerts that mean something. Detection zones drawn around the driveway and the back gate, not the whole frame with the road in it.
  • Fourteen days minimum. Storage sized so you still have the footage when you get back from holiday and notice something is missing.
  • Your login, not ours. The account is in your name. If you ever leave us, the system keeps working and we hand over the credentials.

Cameras

Placed for faces and number plates, not for coverage maps.

A camera that shows a hooded shape crossing a lawn tells you nothing you didn't know. We plan around the two or three choke points every property has — the gate, the front door, the passage between the house and the garage.

Night-Capable Cameras

Colour at night off ambient light where there's a streetlamp, infrared where there isn't. Specified per position, because one camera type never suits a whole property.

Number Plate Capture

A dedicated camera at the gate, angled and shuttered for plates rather than scenery — the shot that is actually worth having after the fact.

Video Intercoms

See and speak to whoever is at the gate from your phone, whether you're in the kitchen or in Cape Town — and let a delivery in without giving anyone a key.

Access control

Who gets in, when, and a record of it afterwards.

The point of access control isn't the lock — it's knowing that the domestic worker's tag stopped working the day she left, and being able to prove who opened the storeroom on Saturday.

  1. Tags & Fobs

One per person, cancelled individually. No more changing a shared code every time somebody moves on.

  2. Fingerprint Readers

For doors where tags get lent, lost or left in the other jacket. Enrolment takes about a minute per person.

  3. Time Rules

Staff access limited to working hours, contractors to the days they're booked, and everyone locked out on public holidays.

  4. The Audit Trail

Every open logged with the person and the time, exportable. Quietly the most useful part when something goes missing.

Not sure how many cameras you need?

Almost nobody needs as many as they've been quoted. Book the survey and we'll walk the property, mark the positions that earn their keep, and tell you plainly which ones we'd leave out.
