Where the paint hasn't broken, we can usually work the dent out from behind the panel instead of filling and respraying it. Cheaper, quicker, and your car keeps the paint it left the factory with.
Paintless dent removal
Original paint is worth more than you'd think.
A respray is sometimes the only option — but not always, and it's not free. Once a panel has been painted outside the factory it shows on a paint-depth gauge, and any decent dealer or buyer will run one at trade-in time.
Paintless dent removal works the metal back from the underside with rods and taps, reading the panel under a striped light board until the reflection runs straight again. No filler, no paint, nothing to fade or peel later.
- Keeps your resale value. No respray means nothing shows on a paint-depth reading when you come to sell or trade in.
- Usually a same-day job. Single dents are often done while you wait. Bigger hail jobs take two to four days depending on the count.
- We'll tell you when it won't work. If the paint is cracked or the metal is stretched too far, we'll say so and quote the conventional repair instead.

Inland South African hail does a specific kind of damage — dozens or hundreds of shallow dents across the horizontal panels. Handled properly, most of it comes out without paint.
